Evaluation and final show •
Using a combination of assets already created by West End and personally modelled assets I supported them by developing the children's 3D bedroom.
Moving forward with initial creative I began developing animated scenes and sequencing the full projection in line with the developed audio files.
The audio applied to my animated elements is largely compiled through royalty free SFX and Christmas like jingles. Some additional SFX were recorded by myself. The aim here is to compliment the previously created sequences but synchronising audio and visual.
Having explored an initial narrative and visual concept I began thinking about the most efficient method of production.
From the outset of this project I felt that a select spoken word track would be fitting for the brief. Spoken word is a word based performance that focuses on word play, intonation and voice inflection. It is an poetic art form delivered aloud and particularly popular within hiphop and slam poetry.
Following my initial research in animation types and methods of production I have gathered some strong examples relating to traditional cell animation and 2D animations.
